This has been located around an
artificial canal, created in memory of the
Cistercian river, a former branch of the Authie
which used to flow through the courtyard of the
Abbey.
You can find plants which prefer moist as
willows, alders, poplars and bamboos. Admire (in
July) the impressive high of the flower of the
Heracleum mantegazzianum but be careful, do not
touch, its leaves are burning ! |

| Instead of returning
simply over the duckboards alongside the stream,
we would advise you to go a little further
inside this rather wild part, along the little
paths that run through it.
